4 years as Mayor of Key West protecting the health and wellbeing of our community
Teri Johnston served 8 years as Key West City Commissioner. She was elected as City Mayor in 2018 then re-elected in 2020 and in 2022. Her experience and leadership skills were tested almost from the start with the challenges faced by our City. Her capacity to listen to multiple viewpoints, to research the data, and to inspire people to move forward together has proven its value to our community. Her revitalized Strategic Planning process brought new direction to the City. She is, perhaps, most proud to have worked closely with Key West residents in creating a better future for all of Key West.
